AHE Conference 2017 28 & 29 June 2017 Manchester UK
An excellent conference, I think it is the best I have attended in terms of quality presenters, organisation and fellow delegates. I will be back’ (Delegate comment, June 2017).
Developing assessment and feedback practice is arguably the most powerful way to improve the learning and success of your students. The 6th International Assessment in Higher Education Conference (AHE) conference was held in Manchester in June 2017. The aim of this biennial conference is to support the development of research-informed practice in assessment and feedback in higher education.
The AHE conference brought together over 200 delegates from 26 countries to share innovative practice and research into assessment and feedback. With master classes from leading professors, provocative keynotes, thought-provoking practice exchange, cutting edge research presentations, all focused on understanding and improving assessment and feedback in higher education.

The next AHE event will be a one-day symposium in Manchester on 28 June 2018. The call for papers will be sent out in September 2017.
‘I really enjoyed the keynote by Jan McArthur – a real breath of fresh air. Challenging so much that is normalised about assessment – genuinely inspiring’ (Delegate comment, June 2017).
‘It’s great to have such a great range of international participants. Came away full of ideas to change. Thanks for a great conference’.(Delegate comment, June 2017).
