Presentation Formats

You are invited to offer contributions to this seminar in two possible formats:

1. Share your practice in assessment and feedback in a 3minute ‘nano’ oral presentation in a round table format – these can be very simple – e.g. an example of a successful innovation in your institution, successful implementing a specific assessment change, an effective technique for engaging staff, ideas for (research) projects, and others.

2. Present your project or research in assessment and feedback more formally with a 10 minute presentation (your project may be in progress or completed)

Colleagues wishing to share practice through an oral nano presentation in a round table format are asked to submit a 200 word abstract. In addition to the 200 words you may like to include a website link and one or two key references. Colleagues wishing to contribute a formal 15 minute presentation are required to submit a 500 word abstract. You may include up to six key references. Once selected, these presenters must commit to provide a short paper as pre-reading (1000 words) three weeks prior to the event.

The deadline for submissions is Friday 30th January 2016. You must submit your proposal online via this link

If you have general queries please contact Linda Shore at linda.shore@cumbria.ac.uk
If you would like to discuss your proposal informally please contact Pete Boyd at pete.boyd@cumbria.ac.uk or Nicola Reimann at nicola.reimann@durham.ac.uk

There is a charge of £150 for all seminar participants.
